EIRS
Education Instruction & Remediation Services (EIRS) offers a one-on-one tutoring program that is designed to identify specific strengths and weaknesses and to instruct the student on how to utilize those strengths to overcome/compensate for identified weaknesses.
EIRS (Education Instruction & Remediation Services (1) works on helping the student to be comfortable by pointing out that it is okay to be seeking help; (2) focuses on using the strengths that the student already possesses to develop confidence that he can achieve whatever task is placed before him; (3) combines the comfort with the confidence to empower the student to develop the competence necessary to be successful in all areas of life.
Area Offerings:
Multi-sensory reading programs (To accommodate differing learning styles, language-based LD, e.g. dyslexia, NVLD
Phonetic Based: Orton Gillingham Method LiPS (Lindamood Phonemic Sequencing)
Comprehension: Project Read, Story Form
Grammar: Project Read, Framing Your Thoughts, Sentence Structure, Parts of Speech, Diagramming, etc.
Math: Basic Skills, Algebra, Problem-Solving Techniques, using Saxon, Glencoe, A Beka, Bob Jones (others as needed)
Chemistry: Fundamentals (as needed)
Biology: Fundamentals (as needed)
